Casting call for two new theatre productions

May 16, 2012 in News, Public

Castings are taking place for a brand new stage musical FINDING NEVERLAND -  which is being produced by the multi award winning film producer Harvey Weinstein at The Curve in Leicester prior to a possible West End Run.

The casting directors are looking for amazing boys with unbroken voices.  Rehearsals take place from July 30 with the show opening in Leicester around September 21st and closing on October 18.

Please note all boys must be fair skinned and no taller than 5 foot 2.   They may have to have some dancing skills but this is unclear at the moment so please concentrate on singing voices and acting skills.

The audition will be on a Friday afternoon in London (venue TBC) and there will be recalls at 6 – 8 on Friday and 10 am – 1pm on Saturday.  Boys must be available for all three of these sessions in order to be considered.

Unfortunately, there is no flexibility on the audition times. There will also be music to learn prior to the audition .

Castings are also taking place for THE BODYGUARD. Based on the Whitney Houston Movie of the same name, it will  be produced by David Ian Productions in the Autumn at the Adelphi Theatre

The casting directors are looking for six black boys to share the role of Fletcher.    He is aged about 10, unbroken voice, under 4 foot 10 with a fabulous singing voice. This boy also has a dance number. Preferably able to commute to London but will consider boys from elsewhere.
