Bedfordshire Music Trust holiday courses

If your child already plays an instrument and / or goes to an Inspiring Music Centre, then they might also be interested in taking part in a holiday course.

Bedfordshire has built up an enviable reputation for its holiday courses / activities, offering participation in:

  • county-wide orchestras
  • wind bands
  • string groups
  • chamber groups
  • a choir
  • a youth opera

The next courses are in the summer holidays. They tend to last between 3 to 5 days and are full day sessions, culminating in a public performance.

They are extremely valuable for the progress of students and offer high-level tuition, coaching and direction as well as being an important part of the social calendar.

From the less experienced to the most senior ensembles, the emphasis is on music making of the highest quality within the standard of the group.

Repertoire is chosen carefully to nurture the techniques and minds of young players.
