Monday after‑school music groups

Friendly, enjoyable music sessions where children can try an instrument, build confidence and make music together.

  • Time: 4 to 5:45pm (during term time)

  • Cost: Starting from £4.80 per session (paid termly)

Who it’s for

For those aged 7+ who want to:

  • try an instrument for the first time

  • build confidence in a supportive setting

  • learn and play music with others

No experience is needed for most sessions.


Sessions

Foundation Keys (keyboard)

4 to 4.45pm

A fun, hands‑on introduction to keyboard. Children learn basic notes, simple tunes and rhythms, building confidence as they play together in a group.

Foundation Strings

4 to 4:45pm

An introduction to violin, viola or cello. Children learn how to hold and play their instrument, create their first sounds and begin simple pieces as part of a group.

Foundation Brass

5 to 5:45pm

A lively introduction to brass instruments such as trumpet or trombone. Participants learn how to produce sound, play simple notes and start making music together.

Inspiring Singers (ages 7–12)

4 to 4:45pm

A relaxed and enjoyable singing group where children explore songs, warm up their voices and build confidence performing together.
