Something for Summer 2027

Singing and Instrumental Superstars projects

We will be running end-of-year concerts in professional venues during the summer term.

For 2027, events will take place at:

• The Grove Theatre, Dunstable (indoor concert)

• The Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden, Biggleswade (outdoor festival)

Dates are to be confirmed and are expected to take place in late June or early July 2027.

Who can take part

Any school that has taken part in:

• Singing Superstars (Key Stage 2), or

• Instrumental Superstars (Key Stages 1 and 2)

At any point during the academic year is eligible to request involvement at one of the venues.

About the performances

These events provide opportunities for pupils to:

• perform in a professional venue

• showcase the musical progress achieved through the Superstars programmes

• build confidence

• experience a sense of achievement

All performances are fully risk assessed and supported by Inspiring Music tutors and staff.

Practical arrangements

• participation is offered at no additional cost to schools

• schools are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the venue

• date and venue allocations will be shared during spring 2027

Alternative options

For Instrumental Superstars, and for Singing Superstars schools that choose not to take part in the summer showcase concerts, an alternative option is available.

During session 11 of the term, schools may choose either:

• an in-school performance, delivered in collaboration with the Whole Class Tutor, or

• an additional teaching session, if preferred

Please discuss your preferred option for each project directly with your Whole Class Tutor.
