BLMK Music Hub

A partnership making a difference in the lives of young musicians.

The Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes (BLMK) Music Hub is a collaborative initiative that brings together the music services of Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton Council, and Milton Keynes City Council. Our partnership aims to provide high-quality music education for all children and young people in our regions.

Lead schools

Lead schools for music work in partnership with the local Music Hub to support and improve music education across the region.

What lead schools do

They support music teachers and schools, share effective teaching approaches, and help plan and deliver high-quality music opportunities.

They also:

  • share strong practice with other schools

  • support teachers and school leaders
