South Beds Sinfonia

South Beds Sinfonia is a string orchestra for students of Grade 3 standard upwards living in or near the south of Bedfordshire.

It is directed by the talented Charlotte Payne and rehearses at Cedars Upper School, Linslade each Monday from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.

The repertoire offered is always varied and past performances have included Corelli, Mozart, Faure and The Beatles.

The Sinfonia performs in two concerts each year, one around at Christmastime and one in the summer term. These concerts usually take place on a Saturday at a local church where families and friends as well as the public have the opportunity to listen to the orchestra perform the wonderful pieces of music they have learnt through the year.
